Clash of clans is basically a free game (available on both ios and android).
This game was released on August 2, 2012, on iso and lately, it is added to android too.

Clash of clans is a freemium mobile strategy game in which you built your own base. It is developed and published by Finnish game developer Supercell.

                                        GAMEPLAY                                              

Clash of Clans is an online multiplayer game. In this game player join a clan or build his own clan, train troops, spells etc.
Basically, there is 4 type of resources-elixir, gold, dark elixir(available from townhall 7) and gems.


BUILDING

From Th1 to 6 - there is the only use of gold and elixir.
from th7 to 11 - there is the use of gold, elixir and dark elixir ( for dark troops and heroes).

In order to build a base, you need to collect gold and elixir and in order to collect gold and elixir, you need to build storages.

Basically, gold is used for upgrading defenses and reloading traps so that your base can be defended from enemies and elixir is used to upgrade buildings like spell factory, barracks etc.
At th7 (TH-townhall) dark elixir show up which mean you are ready to collect dark and build heroes. dark elixir is used to upgrade dark barracks and heroes.

CLAN WARS

The most interesting thing in the clash of clans is clan wars!

So, what is clan?
the clan is groups of people who join together to support each other, eighter by donating troops or giving advice.

now come to the clan wars-
In clan wars two different clans face each other. Clan leader or co-leader can start a clan war. Each clan is given 1 day preparation day in which clan members fill each others clan castle. Next day is war day in which clan members attack opponent clan bases in order to gain stars and take there clan to victory. Each player has two attacks with him and he needs to use those 2 attacks within 24hrs of war day! The clan with highest stars win and if the two clans numbered with same stars then the victory is the one that has the highest destruction.

after Clan war ends players are rewarded with resources if he/she had used his attacks in war.

my suggestion- Never rush your base, mean don't upgrade your town hall until you done with your troops, buildings, heores and spells because if you want to join a good clan then you need to be max. Generally, max players are accepted in good clans!
